Helen, who is known for versatile acting roles, plays the venerable Madame Mallory in The Hundred-Foot Journey, the owner of a French restaurant who hires a gifted new chef named Hassan and takes him under her wing.

Oprah Winfrey and Steven Spielberg co-produced the movie and Helen was happy to pose with Lime Strapless Sweetheart Plus Size Strapless Chiffon Gown by Night Moves.


While Helen the star opted for a retro look, the 60-year-old media mogul went with a timelessly classic white-collared black dress with three-quarter sleeves.


The slim fit of the dress flattered Oprah's curves and the T-strap heels were a nice touch.

Earlier in the day, Helen proved a winner again as she appeared on Good Morning America.

For her visit Helen wore a blue and yellow-patterned A-line number with ivory cardigan and cream-coloured pumps.

While she plays an accomplished restauranteur in the film - due out in US theatres on Friday - Mirren herself has no great talent for cooking.

‘I’m very good at certain things. I make absolutely brilliant Marmite on toast, I do a very good baked beans on toast, I do a fabulous tomatoes on toast... I’m not a great chef, no,’ she said with a laugh.


Back at the premiere, the film's Charlotte Le Bon was lovely in a white lace dress with full elbow-length sleeves and softly curling hair style.

At one point, Charlotte bumped into her co-star Manish Dayal and the two had fun acting silly for the cameras.

Dayal, who plays the young chef Hassan, wore a black suit, dark tie and white shirt, keeping things simple.

Lena Olin, who is wed to the film's director, the legendary Lasse Hallstrom, marvelled in an A-line dress featuring a swirling yellow, ivory and black pattern.

Olin complimented her classic-cut dress with metallic pumps and a simple necklace.

 Megan Fox shows off her toned legs in daringly short mini dress at Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles LA premiere .

Her character April traditionally wore a yellow jumpsuit.

But Megan Fox certainly wasn't covering up when she graced the red carpet at the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in Los Angeles on Sunday.

The 28-year-old wowed in a daringly short white mini dress, which showed off her homecoming dresses on sale.

And a pair of black strappy heels only served to add length to her already coltish legs.

The mother-of-two smouldered as she posed with her co-stars, dark smudges of eye-shadow accentuating her feline eyes.


Skin glowing, Megan - who is married to 90210 star Brian Austin Green - wore her dark hair in long waves that fell around hr narrow shoulders.

The star's glam squad for the night included celebrity stylist Rachel Zoe and her team of fashionistas.

Pouting like a pro, Megan cosied up to her co-star Alan Ritchson, who plays turtle Raphael.

Alan, who wore a CGI suit to shoot the film, wore a Beautiful Halter Sequin Strap La Femme 17441 Homecoming Dress Watermelon for Cheap.


Megan also posed alongside Amy Poehler's ex-husband Will Arnett, who appears as Vernon Fenwick in the franchise, which is based on the 90s cartoon series.

Meanwhile, 16-year-old Bella Thorne showed herself to be a fan of the famous amphibians by wearing a retro TMNT T-shirt, adorned with gold studs on the sleeves.

She twinned the funky top with a leather mini skirt and sophisticated black heels.

Dallas actress Jordana Brewster, 32, showed off her slim figure in a brown snakeskin print top and shorts combo.
